Protecting and supporting a range of plants and crops, Copper Mixture can help correct copper deficiency in beets, onions and top fruit; tackle manganese deficiencies in many crops such as potatoes, beans and peas; and overcome zinc deficiency in fruit grown on sandy soils with high pH and phosphate levels.
For best results do not apply in extreme temperature, very bright sunlight or in drought conditions. Apply the mixture immediately by sprayer ensuring all foliage is evenly wetted.
In cases of severe deficiency, repeat sprays as necessary. Do not apply more than three applications a year.
How to Use:
Copper Mixture can be applied as a spray ensuring good leaf coverage. For best results apply during the early morning or evening. Do not apply in extremes of temperature, very bright sunlight or in drought conditions.
Copper Mixture should be pre-mixed with a small quantity of water in a plastic bucket or other suitable containers. When thoroughly mixed, makeup to the final volume with more water, stirring continuously.
One packet is sufficient to make 9 litres of spray. For small areas use 30g of product in 1.5 litres of water.
Apply mixture immediately by sprayer ensuring that all foliage is evenly wetted without drenching.
Commence spraying during periods of active growth when there is good leaf coverage to absorb the nutrients. In cases of severe deficiency repeat spray as necessary at three-week intervals.
NOTE: Do not allow diluted material to stand. Wash the sprayer immediately after use. Do not apply more than 3 applications or 12kg/ha of product per season.
Copper Mixture may cause damage to some fruit varieties. It is therefore recommended that a small number of plants are treated and observed for any damage, before making large-scale applications.
