A combination of Aluminium and Steel is used in the construction of this well-designed Pergola. The construction is very strong and will withstand wind when bolted down to the patio. Designed to be left outside all year round, this piece will offer plenty of use. We strongly recommend that all Pergola legs are bolted to the floor. The sliding Canopy has been made using 180-gram waterproofed Polyester with a fade resistance of level 6 which is higher than normal. By simply pulling the cord the fabric top moves to either provide shade or open allows the sun to shine through. The canopy can be easily removed for the winter months.
Available with either Grey or Taupe canopy the choice is yours. The frames are Grey only. Pavilion Pergola 3-year guarantee on the frame.

This pergola is exactly as described. The posts look strong and are most likely the steel part. The roof parts are lighter and probably aluminium. The instructions are pictorial only but easy enough to follow. For two people it did take quite a number of hours to assemble. The roof needs more than two people really as the four bars are attached to the canopy when lifting it into place I deducted a star because there were some small chips on the powder coating at the edges and screw holes. Also we found we were short a screw either because we lost one, or were one short. A few extra in the bag might help. The other reason was because it only supplied spikes for mounting on grass. We had to buy screws and washers to mount it on a deck.
